The White House Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award
The White House Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award is a prestigious recognition given by the United States government to honor individuals, families, and groups who have demonstrated a significant commitment to volunteer service. Established in 2003 the award seeks to encourage a spirit of service and civic engagement by recognizing volunteers across the country who dedicate their time to helping others and improving their communities.
The highest honor, the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award, is given to those who have contributed over 4,000 hours of volunteer service in their lifetime. To achieve any level of the award, recipients must provide volunteer services through approved organizations or in ways that positively impact the community and reflect the values of good citizenship.
Recipients of the Presidential Service Award receive an official certificate and a congratulatory letter signed by the current sitting President of the United States of America, along with a commemorative pin representing the level of their achievement. This award holds high regard as it comes directly from the White House, making it a valuable and recognized honor for volunteers of all ages.
The Lives Amplified Foundation has been approved by this highly regarded White House related program to nominate and bestow this high honor upon qualified individuals.
